Word’s on the street that Singapore’s got Sesame Street in town – and it is right here in Changi Airport. Whether you’re young-at-heart or looking to bring your kids for a fun day out over the March holidays, you can now (quite literally) take a trip down Sesame Street’s pop-up exhibition and bounce around an inflatable playground. At the same time, you can collect exclusive Elmo, Cookie Monster and other Sesame Street-themed notebooks and stickers!
Before you get started, here is a list of everything you need to know to make the most out of your trip to the airport.
1. First, grab your passport
Discover the fun side of Changi with this Sesame Street-themed passport!
Not your real passport, but the special Sesame Street-themed Changi Loves Kids Passport to Fun – available only in the month of March.
Just as your actual passport follows you around the world, this passport will travel with you through different Sesame Street adventures, where you can get your Passport to Fun stamped like the real deal. A fully stamped passport will get you exciting perks throughout the year and a special gift (it’s a surprise!) in October.
These are just six of the 16 Sesame Street-themed sticker designs – collect them all!
There are also a few pages in the Passport to Fun dedicated to stickers. These stickers can be collected from participating restaurants, Customer Service Counters and Information Counters all around Changi Airport.
How do you get this passport? Just save your shopping or dining receipts (minimum spend of $60), and you can redeem two exclusive Passports to Fun!
P.S. Save your receipts – you can reuse them to redeem other items like activity passes for the inflatable playground and a special souvenir (read on to find out more)!
2. Stroll down Asia’s first Sesame Street pop-up exhibition
Recognise this iconic road sign?
If you’ve watched Sesame Street growing up, you would probably remember its iconic green-and-yellow street sign and red-bricked buildings. Now, you can wander through scenes from your childhood memories at the Our Street to Yours Sesame Street pop-up exhibition at Terminal 3’s (T3) Basement 2.
Come down to the pop-up exhibition to take a photo with Big Bird!
Who stole the cookies from the cookie jar?
Help Cookie Monster count his cookies, and sit back and relax in Elmo’s world as he explains how planes work. Or huddle in Big Bird’s nest for a photo, and remember to keep an eye out for a certain trash can – you never know what might pop out!
P.S. Don’t forget to get your passport stamped here!
Location: T3, Basement 2 (Public)
Date and time: 9 March 2018 - 1 May 2018, 10:00am - 11:00pm daily
