Jewel Changi Airport, one of Singapore’s newest lifestyle destination, offers a multi-dimensional experience integrating nature, play and retail elements. Since its opening in April 2019, this 10-storey integrated complex has awed the world with its iconic architecture and state-of-the-art attractions. Connected to the airport’s Terminals 1, 2 and 3, Jewel is sure to bring about new experiences for you and your loved ones, no matter whether you are travelling or not!
Here are some tips on how you can spend a day at Jewel to explore the more than 280 shops and F&B outlets, as well as attractions located in the heart of Changi Airport.
10AM: Arrive at Jewel and take in the sights
Arrive at Jewel and be welcomed by the amazing Rain Vortex that is bound to take your breath away! Capture that picture-perfect photo for the memories, and soak in the beauty of this mesmerizing sight! Don’t forget to snap a picture of the Rain Vortex at night too, when it transforms into a light and sound show. Spanning four storeys, the surrounding Forest Valley which consists of more than 2,000 trees and 100,000 shrubs from all over the world offers a unique hiking experience with scenic walking trails that you can discover at your own pace.

12PM: Savour a hearty lunch at exciting F&B concepts newly-introduced to Singapore
More than 30 per cent of Jewel’s space is dedicated to food and beverage stores. This leaves the foodie in you spoilt for choice! But fret not, we have picked out some of the most exciting dining outlets for you to enjoy a hearty lunch with your friends and family.
Feast on burgers and crinkle-cut fries at Shake Shack
The highly-raved about New York burger chain is now available in Singapore! Starting out as a hot dog cart inside Madison Square Park, New York in 2001, Shake Shack has steadily grown in popularity in the United States and around the world. Shake Shack in Jewel is its first store in Southeast Asia and you should not miss the popular items on its menu. The cheeseburgers, classic crinkle-cut fries and frozen custard ice cream will keep you going back for more!
Taste the star of PINK FISH’s menu – Norwegian salmon
This is for all salmon lovers out there! Opening its first outlet outside of Norway since PINK FISH first opened in Oslo in 2017, the fast-casual seafood restaurant will be bringing plenty of fresh Norwegian salmon dishes to Jewel.
Treat yourself to Yunnan cuisine at Yun Nans
Known as Yun Hai Yao in China, Yun Nans will offer you with Yunnan cuisine rarely found in Singapore. You will be in for a treat with the light, fresh and sweet flavours of Yunnan cuisine paired with skillful cooking methods, presenting a colourful food culture never seen before in Singapore. 2PM: Shop at stores you should not miss
Catch your favourite Pokémon at the first Pokémon Center outside of Japan
If you are a Pokémon fan who has been waiting for the first Pokémon Center outside of Japan since it was announced last year, you can now shop and bring home your favourite merchandise from Jewel. There will be Jewel-exclusive toys, stationery and games available for you to add to your Pokémon collection. Pikachu and other exhibits in the store will also form a perfect backdrop for your selfies and Instagram-worthy photos!
Immerse yourself in an interactive lifestyle experience at Naiise Iconic
Naiise, one of Singapore’s most prominent design retailer has opened its first concept store in Jewel. You will be able to find many locally-inspired designs on clothes, accessories, stationery and home décor items. You can also participate in many interactive in-store activities, as the retailer promises an interactive and immersive shopping experience. The concept store, which houses a café, is also a perfect place for you to rejuvenate before continuing your journey in discovering Jewel.
Bring home a chocolate gift from Läderach Swiss Chocolatier
Be sure to stop by Läderach, a popular Swiss artisanal chocolatier. You will be able to have a taste of their most popular product, the FrischSchoggi (Fresh Chocolate), at the store. Other top-quality chocolate specialties available in store include handcrafted pralines and truffles.

4PM: Go on an adventure at the Canopy Park
Bounce among soft clouds and more
Located at the highest level of Jewel, the picturesque 14,000 sqm space is the home to Changi’s largest and newest collection of attractions and gardens. Feel gravity leave you as you bounce almost weightlessly skywards through the Manulife Sky Nets, a 250-metre long and giant bouncy net! For something more thrilling, try the Walking Nets instead - hold your breath while you make your way across the nets that are suspended 25-metres above ground. The Discovery Slides is where art lovers and thrill seekers meet. Apart from being an art sculpture you can admire, you can also whizz down four different slides that will get your adrenaline pumping. 6PM: Your last stop before dinner at the Changi Experience Studio
Go on a race at the 'runway'
Before you head for dinner, visit the Changi Experience Studio. With immersive shows and interactive exhibits, the studio will bring you through a journey of fun and excitement as you discover the heartbeat of Changi Airport. While you're there, go on the 'Amazing Runway', a multi-player game where you can choose to race against a Porsche 911 GT3 Carrera Cup car or Boeing 747 jet plane. 7.30PM: Enjoy dinner at the best spots in Jewel
Indulge on local favourites at Violet Oon Singapore
Local chef and food connoisseur Violet Oon will be opening her largest restaurant to date at Jewel, serving up traditional Peranakan cuisine and bringing local favourites like dry laksa, curries, beef rendang and satay to all visitors.
To enjoy the breathtaking view of Jewel while enjoying your meal at the restaurant, request to have a seat at the indoor veranda. If you are looking for a gift packed with Singapore flavour, there are snacks, jams, sauces and sambal (chilli paste) available for sale in the restaurant.
Satisfy your craving for Burger & Lobster’s original lobster roll
Located at the highest of Jewel, London’s popular chain, Burger & Lobster is surrounded by the Canopy Park where you can enjoy the breathtaking view of the Rain Vortex while dining in the restaurant. As its first outlet in Singapore, the menu will feature new seasonal dishes inspired by local flavours and ingredients, on top of the popular original lobster roll, fresh Atlantic lobsters and its famed prime burger.
