3. Take some time for yourself
If you are looking to recharge your social batteries and need some time to yourself, there are some areas within Changi Airport and Jewel where you can escape to.
Plane watch at the viewing galleries
It can be therapeutic to revel in peace and serenity just by watching planes go by at the airportâs viewing galleries.
Popular amongst aviation enthusiasts, Terminals 1 and 3 have long viewing galleries where you can grab a seat, sit back and relax, and watch aircraft take off and land, or taxi into or out of their aircraft bays at close range. Maybe even get ideas for your next holiday destination?
Rest and Relax at the HSBC Rain Vortex
Grab a drink or a snack and just head to one of the many bench seats that surround the HSBC Rain Vortex in Jewel.
There is something very therapeutic about being near the waterfall - the light breeze, lush greenery, and atmospheric sound of water are simply mesmerising. You can also catch the Skytrain as it passes overhead through the Shiseido Forest Valley. Is it meditative? Absolutely! It's a nice place to do some deep breathing exercises with nature around you.
If you are one who recharges when you socialise with friends, this is also a great spot for gatherings.
A picnic tip? Purchase your snacks on iShopChangi and pick them up from the Jewel Collection Centre before meeting your pals!
P.S. If you come at night, youâll even be able to catch the magical light and sound show that runs at 8.00pm and 9.00pm daily, with an additional 10.00pm show on weekends!
Have a spa at Natureland
Release some of those tight knots in your body by getting a massage or spa treatment (or both!) at Natureland.
For the ultimate relaxation, head down to either Terminal 3 or Jewel to experience the wonder of Natureland. From body scrubs, to full-body massages, relieve yourself of the muscle tension that has been building up in your body.
