Shower facilities in Singapore Changi Airport & Jewel to freshen up between flights

After a long flight, many transit passengers may find themselves tired and, well, needing to freshen up. 

But there’s great news for weary travellers! Did you know that Singapore Changi Airport and Jewel have shower facilities and rooms where you can have a wash and feel rejuvenated before the next leg of your journey? 

Changi Airport has shower facilities in every terminal and even spas and massage facilities to ensure you truly feel rejuvenated. If you’ve got a lengthy layover in Changi Airport and hope to take a refreshing shower after your arrival, check out this comprehensive list below to find out where to enjoy Changi Airport’s shower facilities.

Terminal 1: Plaza Premium Lounge

Everything from soap and bath towels to shavers and toothbrushes is provided in the six full-facility showers of the Plaza Premium Lounge—of which one is also accessible to travellers using wheelchairs. 

As part of the prestigiously recognised Plaza Premium Lounge network, this lounge is best known for its sleep pods in communal areas, private resting suites and VIP rooms. 

The shortest time for use of the Plaza Premium Lounge is its three-hour package at S$55. Regardless of the price or package you choose, they all offer free-flowing food and drinks, including beers and house wines, to complete your transit relaxation experience. Complimentary wifi and charging stations are available too.

You probably won’t be left wanting, but if you need to buy any other travel essentials, you can buy them at the Guardian pharmacy nearby.

Terminal 2: Ambassador Transit Lounge and Hub & Spoke

No detail is overlooked at the Ambassador Transit Lounge. Located in the transit area of Terminal 2, it is easily accessible for all travellers. Beyond basic necessities like shower gel, shampoo and bath towels, this comprehensive lounge provides all kinds of toiletries—from shavers and shaving cream to toothbrushes, toothpastes, combs and shower caps. Lounge access passes start at S$55 per person for a minimum of three hours.

The shower rooms are surprisingly spacious too, so you won’t have to worry about fumbling over keeping your clothes dry while you shower.  

Even if you don’t plan on using the rest of the lounge facilities, the shower is still accessible for a small fee of S$20. 

The Ambassador Transit Lounge is a swanky and comfy venue that provides food and drinks, and guests can pick from various hourly packages.

If you are looking for a place to shower and freshen up in the public area of Terminal 2, Hub & Spoke, which is about a five minute walk from Terminal 2’s Arrival Hall, has shower facilities for visitors and travellers. 

Hub & Spoke is a multifaceted area that invites you to eat, drink, relax in a garden, work out in its gym, or even rent a bicycle and explore Changi Airport’s Jurassic Mile! 

When it comes to freshening up in Hub & Spoke, there are showers here that charge S$5 per entry. These showers have bath and body basics like hot water, soap, shampoo and hair dryers, but single-use towels are sold separately at its vending machines.

You could, however, pre-book a shower and towel bundle on Klook, and it’ll even come with a discount voucher for your food purchases within Hub & Spoke. To access the facilities, you’ll have to buy an entry pass from the cafe or via the Changi app, both of which will give you a QR code to scan to enter.

If you require travel essentials, there are vending machines in Hub & Spoke that dispense an array of necessities.

Terminal 3: Ambassador Transit Lounge and Be Relax

Just like the Ambassador Transit Lounge in Terminal 2, the Terminal 3 lounge provides everything a weary traveller might need, so you can step out of the Ambassador Transit Lounge feeling clean and refreshed, without needing to buy any travel items for literally, one single shower. We’re sure the passenger next to you on the following flight would appreciate you smelling fresh too. 

The Terminal 3 lounge also provides a buffet spread of food and drinks so you can recharge your energy and get ready for the next step in your journey.

Plus, if you want to buy any travel items, several shops in Terminal 3 sell toiletries, perfume and more.

Alternatively, you can freshen up at Be Relax, which is located at Level 2, Departure Transit Hall, near Gate A1. It’s next to the Snooze Lounge, right behind the GST Refund counters. On top of its massage, nails and wellness services, Be Relax also provides shower facilities for travellers to freshen up.

For some pampering, you can treat yourself to a massage and shower at Natureland Spa at Terminal 3 Arrival Hall, or other massage and spa locations in Changi Airport and Jewel.

Terminal 4: Blossom - SATS & Plaza Premium Lounge

Located at Level 2M of the transit area of Terminal 4, Blossom - SATS & Plaza Premium Lounge offers a tranquil environment where comfort and convenience meet. 

Guests can indulge in an array of bath amenities including shower facilities that come equipped with complimentary toiletries and fresh towels. Whether you need a quick rinse or a relaxing soak, the well-maintained shower rooms provide a private space to freshen up before continuing your travel plans.

In addition to the top-notch shower facilities, Blossom offers a variety of seating options from cosy armchairs to private nap rooms, making it an ideal spot for relaxation or catching up on work. You can shower and even nap in the Changi Lounge, where you will be supplied with everything you need. You might even find their shower facilities better than those in hotels. 

This chic and spacious lounge is otherwise simple, providing snacks, a strong and stable wifi connection and a space to chill. Different lounge access packages are available too, with meeting rooms available for rent if you need a space for business meetings or work discussions in a private room.

Many shops in Jewel Changi Airport sell travel essentials—should you require deodorant, hand sanitiser and other travel essentials.
