Guide to experiencing A Wizarding World Holiday at Changi Airport

Wizards and Muggles alike are rejoicing as A Wizarding World Holiday is coming to Changi! With life-sized setups inspired by some of the most iconic and well-known locations seen in the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films including, Hogsmeade Village, Diagon Alley, the Whomping Willow and Newt’s Menagerie, there’s magic to be discovered here at Changi Airport from 16 November 2018 to mid-February 2019. Here are 4 tips for you to experience a wondrous festive holiday here!

1. Visit a setup inspired by the magical shops and establishments found in Diagon Alley right here at T3

There is fun and magic for all to enjoy!

Step into this themed area inspired by Diagon Alley and participate in fun and exciting activities, just by posting 3 photos of the event on Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag “#ChangiWizardingWorld”, and show them to the staff along with your free iChangi app^. In no time you’ll be enjoying 2 fun and exciting activities!

Activity Set A: Robes Fitting and Wand Challenge

Have fun by dressing up with your friends with robes and accessories inspired by the Harry Potter films and characters...

Get fitted for your own robe and dress in your favourite Wizarding World attire in a set-up inspired by the Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions shop! Take portraits, download them onto your phone, and share them with your friends and family!

…and master your spell-casting skills by learning to cast as many spells right as you can!

Swish and flick or wave your wand in the correct manner as you learn some of your favourite spells seen in the Harry Potter films! 

Activity Set B: Quaffle Toss and Niffler Challenge Game

Have fun by dressing up with your friends with robes and accessories inspired by the Harry Potter films and characters

Now you can master some of your Quidditch skills and have fun at the same time! Be part of this great throwing practice activity inspired by the wizarding sport of Quidditch, as seen in the Harry Potter films! 

Learn and practise some of the basic Quidditch skills by scoring as many goals as you can through the hoops!

Inspired by Newt Scamander's magical suitcase, in this game you can load up a Niffler’s stash with coins and try to make it topple! 

Tip: As a limited number of people can try the games at any one time, we recommend that you come early and reserve a time slot. Digital queue numbers will be issued for all activities with an SMS alert once it’s your turn. 

Location: Activities are available from 16 Nov 2018 to 6 Jan 2019 at Terminal 3 Departure Hall, Check-in Row 11 

2. Plan your visit to Changi to catch the spellbinding snow and light show at the set-up in T3 inspired by Hogsmeade Village

Watch the special snow and light show specially choreographed to the iconic musical piece from the Harry Potter original soundtrack, Harry’s Wondrous World

Immerse yourself in the charming set-up inspired by Hogsmeade Village and see it come alive in a magical snow and light show. To add on to the festive cheer, get your very own moving photos inspired by the Daily Prophet at the photo activity, available during the weekends.

Snow and Light Show timings: 16 Nov to 6 Jan 19, weekdays (6pm, 7pm, 9pm) and weekends (1pm, 6pm, 7pm, 9pm)

Photo activity timings: Every weekend from 17 Nov to 30 Dec, 3pm and 5pm

Location: T3 Departure Check-In Hall, Level 2

3. Be first to capture memories with the Whomping Willow and Newt’s Menagerie at Changi!

Take a picture in front of the Whomping Willow set-up at Terminal 2, Departure Hall

To all fans of Harry Potter out there, here’s your chance to dress up and capture memories at these beautiful and unique setups inspired by the Whomping Willow and Newt’s Menagerie, as seen in the new film, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.

Or a picture with the adorable Nifflers as seen in the Fantastic Beasts films, at Terminal 1, Central Piazza, Transit Area
