Airport lounges can be a little haven if you need a place to work or rest, away from the hustle and bustle of the airport’s open areas. Indulge in an exclusive space where you can recharge, fuel up or get some work done in the privacy and comfort of a lounge before your flight.
Airport lounges for airlines’ premium passengers or elite members are either operated by the airlines themselves or by the ground handling agents, and access depends on your cabin class or membership tier. Usually, the home carrier’s lounge would be the most luxurious and you should try to experience it if you can.
On top of its array of retail, F&B and entertainment options for travellers, Changi Airport also has some of the best airport lounges in the world. Beyond the comfortable seating, complimentary Wi-Fi, charging points, and a variety of reading materials, there are unique features within the airport’s 16 airline lounges. Read on for a sneak peek into each of the lounges.
British Airways Lounge (Terminal 1)
The stylish British Airways lounge at Terminal 1 has been carefully designed with distinguishing features, including an exclusive bar area for its First-Class passengers, well-rounded facilities and artworks from established British and Singaporean artists.

Its design is strikingly different from the main lounge with black timber, Nero marble and champagne metal finishes. Guests can also choose from a variety of seating options such as communal bar seating, tucked away sofa corners and dining booths. Using dynamic digital technology, they can enjoy panoramic views of the Singapore skyline, reflecting the time of the day.
Other facilities and amenities at the main lounge include complimentary WiFi, work desks with a wireless printer, coat and baggage storage facilities, televisions, washrooms, baby change facilities and shower rooms.
