Being the foodie and night owls that we are, Singaporeans are always on the lookout for late-night restaurants and watering holes to have supper at and wind down from a long day’s work. The latest addition to the local nightlife scene is Overflow which has set up camp at Singapore Changi Airport. Grab a seat at this cosy hideout located at Hub & Spoke (just outside Terminal 2) for some drinks and delicious bites on your night out. There's no need to head out to the city centre for some night-vibe recharge!

Here are five things to look forward to when visiting Changi Airport’s first alfresco bar with live music.

1. Chill among the stars and greenery

The spacious outdoor lounge-like bar seating is great for large groups and even families, with the garden space where kids and pets can run about.

Looking for a new place to chill at Changi Airport? This is it!

Situated away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre, chill out and have a drink at Overflow as you enjoy the greenery and cool evening breeze of the outdoors. If you prefer to be near where the action is, indoor and bar counter seating are available too! The warm lighting and striking neon lights from the stage set the mood for hearty conversations and a good time. Whether you are seated inside or outside, you are sure to get a good view of the live music performance to complement your time there!

Have your furry friends join you too. Keep them comfortable by laying out their pet accessories like their water bowls or favourite toys.

Even if nightlife isn't your jam, dropping by in the afternoon and enjoying the natural sunlight amid beautiful Mother Nature is a serene experience you'll definitely enjoy.

2. A drink for every occasion

From signature cocktails to beers and spirits, there are endless drink options at Overflow. Coupled with acoustic music, enjoy your tipples and groove to the beats.

Overflow boasts a good selection of alcoholic drinks that caters to all tastes and preferences. Drinking with your mates? Go for a three-litre Asahi Beer Tower. Or, go for their list of fine wines and spirits if you’re looking for variety. For the adventurous, look forward to specialty creative cocktails and Overflow's very own collection of rare spirits that will be available from end-April.

Pro-tip: Head there earlier to enjoy happy hour prices from 3:00pm to 7:00pm with final bar orders by 11:30pm.

3. Bar bites and local delights

Pair your drink with bar bites from Overflow or mains from the Hub & Spoke cafe. Try Surf & Turf Potato Dippers or Pork Sliders that are prepared and served in unique ways.

It’s almost impossible to drink without having some snacks on the side. Besides the usual Truffle Fries, go for elevated dishes like their Surf & Turf Potato Dippers where crispy potato wedges are served with a luxurious truffle crab meat dip! Not exciting enough? Consider trying some Swalty (sweet and salty) Pork Sliders. They are filled with rich Nutella sauce, sauteéd onions and banana slices – talk about having the best of both worlds. Plated beautifully, they're one reason why you must prepare your camera phones for Instagram clicks!

From April onwards, you’ll be spoilt for choice with over five flavours of handmade pizzas.

Here’s a plus point. If you’re craving local soul food, order a warm, comforting bowl of Laksa or other local delights such as Nasi Lemak from its neighbouring Hub & Spoke café! They also carry a variety of Western and Asian mains to satisfy any craving.
