It should go without saying that Christmas is the perfect time for feasting with loved ones. The halls are decked with boughs of holly and itâs that time of the year when endless plates of festive food await.
Not everyone fancies cooking up a storm (and cleaning up afterwards), which is why weâve gathered some of the best festive menus for you to savour from various restaurants this season. Weâre talking meat platters, mouth-watering sides, and Instagram-worthy dessertsâall of which can be found in Changi Airport and Jewel Changi Airport.
From cosy and chic restaurants to family-friendly eateries, hereâs how you can keep the spirit of Christmas flying high this holiday in Changi.
Delicious festive menus for a joyous, merry time
1. Swensen's
For generations (since 1979!), Swensenâs has been synonymous with memorable celebrations. Whether itâs birthdays or anniversaries, a trip to Swensen's is a delectable tradition with friends, family or loved ones. Itâs no different this season; Christmas calls for an indulgent feast. Why not ring in the festivities with some whimsical nostalgia at the Swensenâs outlet in Changi Airport?
The previous (and original) outlet first opened in Terminal 1, and while it holds a special place in our hearts, the current outlet at Terminal 3 has equally been a hit since its opening in 2020. Clearly, Swensenâs has stood the test of time.
Savour the ultimate comfort food: Christmas Chicken Waffles (S$21.90)âa delicious plate of juicy boneless chicken drizzled with maple syrup, paired with waffles and served with cranberry slaw. If not, opt for other special optionsâthe meat or seafood platters (S$39.25). The former consists of tender braised beef cheeks, sausages and chicken, along with delicious sides like steak cut fries. The latter, on the other hand, serves up seabass, salmon fillets, king prawns and scallops.
End the feast with sweet desserts like the Turkey Crackles (S$14.80), which comes with sticky chocolate ice cream and cold fudge, or the Biscoff Cheesecake (S$7.80), thatâs known to offer caramel goodness and crunchiness with each bite.
Other Christmas specials are also available for takeaway from Earle Swensenâs on Changi Eats. Take your pick from the selection of Pan Seared Chicken with Creamy Tomato Sauce (S$18.19), Deep Fried Chicken Katsu & Waffles (S$20.33) and Earleâs Lamb Shank Korma (S$62.06).
