If you’re a Happy Hour hunter, you would know the pain of having to Google (or Facebook/Instagram) search restaurants and bars one at a time, to find out if they have Happy Hour promotions. For those who like to get an early start

The party can start as early as 3:00pm. If you’re looking for a good spot to chill out after lunch or before dinner, check out these places that offer good deals from 3:00pm:

1. Perch – Daily Happy Hour promotions from 3:00pm to 6:00pm

Located at Level 2 of Jewel Changi Airport, Perch is a bistro with a great view of Jewel’s Shiseido Forest Valley and the HSBC Rain Vortex. As the bistro is opened by the same company behind the 1855 The Bottle Shop, there is an extensive wine selection available in the restaurant. You may also pick a bottle from their selection in-store and enjoy the wine on the spot.

Their Happy Hour offers wine (Bulletin Place Chardonnay and Merlot), spirits and beer at S$8, as well as all cocktails at S$12.

2. Pizza Express – Weekday Happy Hour from 3:00pm to 8:00pm

If you like the idea of pairing your Happy Hour drinks with a yummy cheesy slice of pizza, Pizza Express has a Happy Hour promotion that runs for five hours every Monday to Friday, from 3:00pm to 8:00pm.

During this period, you can enjoy 1-for-1 Rivera Red and White wines which are normally priced at S$10 per glass. If you are more of a beer person (we get it, beers can be so satisfying after a tough day at work), you can also get two bottles of Heineken at a discounted price of S$12 (usual price: S$16).

For a bird’s-eye view of the HSBC Rain Vortex

Jewel’s HSBC Rain Vortex – the world’s largest indoor waterfall at 40 metres high – can be a nice backdrop for your IG photos when you’re snapping pictures of your Happy Hour drinks.

If you’re in it for the view, these restaurants located on Jewel’s Level 5 offer great Happy Hour promotions:

3. Burger & Lobster – Daily Happy Hour drinks from 3:00pm to 6:00pm

Burger & Lobster, located at Level 5 of Jewel Changi Airport, gives you a panoramic view of the HSBC Rain Vortex& and the Shiseido Forest Valley. Burger & Lobster offers a range of Happy Hour drinks from 3:00pm to 6:00pm daily, and this can be a good time to visit (shorter queues!) if you want to try out their famous lobster rolls.

Their beers, wines and cocktails are priced at S$10 each during Happy Hour. If you’re a bubbly sort of person, you’d be glad to know they also offer Prosecco – the perfect mood-lifting bubbly drink for a lazy afternoon. Cocktails include the Bellini and Aperol Spritz for some sparkling options, as well as traditional favourites like the Old Fashioned and Negroni.

4. Tanuki Raw – Happy Hour all day on Sunday; 3:00pm to 7:00pm for other days

Located also on Level 5 of Jewel Changi Airport, Tanuki Raw has plenty to offer during their Happy Hour timings. Other than their range of drinks, you can also purchase freshly shucked oysters at S$2 each, or prawn cocktails at S$5.

During Happy Hour, you can get lager (by Young Master) at S$10, while wines (Merlot, Chardonnay and Prosecco) and cocktails are available at S$12 and S$14 respectively.

If you’re looking for a nice snack to go with your Happy Hour drink, you can purchase one portion of this prawn cocktail at S$5 for every drink ordered.

Tanuki Raw offers cocktails with an Asian twist, such as the Vodka Milo – Vodka infused with mint, milo and chocolate bitters. Other cocktails available during Happy Hour include the Yuzu Spritz and Rum Chrysanthemum, refreshing options to pair with your meal.

Happy Hour is available all day on Sunday, so do pop by if you’re visiting Jewel over the weekend.

For those who prefer a drink with your dinner

If you prefer dinner with drinks, these restaurants – also located on Jewel’s Level 5 – offer Happy Hour promotions over dinner:

5. Privé: Happy Hour available from 5:00pm to 9:00pm daily

Privé is located next to the Canopy Bridge, where you can get up close with the magnificent HSBC Rain vortex.

Privé at Jewel Changi Airport is a great place to drink up with a good view of the HSBC Rain Vortex, with Happy Hour available till 9:00pm daily. Their red (Merlot) and white (Sauvignon Blanc) wines are available at an unbeatable price of S$7 per glass, while spirits are also available at S$5.

Look out for their “drink of the moment” – a cocktail that changes weekly – that goes for 50% off its regular price during Happy Hour. Now you can grab a drink even after you’re done with dinner and savour it with a view of the HSBC Rain Vortex.

6. Aloha Poké – All day Happy Hour

If you’re craving for a good Poké bowl – think lightly-seasoned tuna or salmon served over rice – to pair it with beer or wine, Aloha Poké is your place to visit at Jewel.

For a limited time only, Aloha Poké is offering an all-day Happy Hour promotion on their drinks till end-October 2020. For S$10, you can get Kona Craft beer and house pour spirits, while wines are available at S$12 per glass.
