Chopstix & Rice serves up authentic Indonesian cuisine on a plate.

Known for serving up authentic Indonesian fare, Chopstix & Rice features spicy, punchy and bold flavours. It first opened as a small Nasi Padang stall in 2002 at Orchard Towers, then relocated to Suntec City with a brand new menu and dining experience in 2024. 

The brand new outlet in Changi Airport Terminal 2 is Chopstix & Rice’s second outlet in Singapore, with new and exclusive dishes have been added to the menu. For those dining with your family and young ones, kids’ meals are also available at this outlet.

2. Taiwan Culture (Terminal 2, Public)

Experience a wide selection of Taiwanese food at Taiwan Culture!

The aptly named restaurant – Taiwan Culture – showcases Taiwanese cuisine with instantly recognisable dishes such as Braised Beef La Mian, Salt & Pepper Crispy Chicken, Mango Pomelo Shaved Ice, and more. If you’re a fan of Taiwanese food, this should be added to your “must-go” list. 

The dining establishment features a warm and cosy interior, made complete with Instagrammable photo spots such as the train booths at the entrance! Taiwan Culture also features a cold appetisers display, where diners can freely pick their appetisers from – perfect for those who love variety. On top of the wide variety of signature dishes and sides for sharing, the menu also features an extensive collection of drinks such as milkshakes and sparkling tea, as well as shaved ice desserts.

3. Royal Host (Jewel Changi Airport)

Royal Host, a popular restaurant chain with more than 200 outlets in Japan, has opened its first overseas outlet in Jewel Changi Airport! With a legacy spanning more than 50 years, Royal Host specialises in Yoshoku cuisine, which refers to a style of western-influenced cooking that has been adapted to suit Japanese tastes and ingredients.

Its signature food items such as Omu Rice, Doria and Hamburg Steak dishes are popular with people of all ages in Japan, making them a great “Host” to all families! Keep a lookout for the Onion Gratin Soup, which Marilyn Monroe declared herself to be a fan of during her honeymoon to Japan back in 1954. The omurice dishes are a must-order, as eggs used to make the omelette are imported from the Kyushi prefecture in Japan, leading to a creamier, fluffier texture.

4. Chow Zan Dessert (Jewel Changi Airport)

Craving for a sweet treat before your flight? Chow Zan Dessert just might be able to satisfy that craving. The large menu features more than 70 items, from sweet treats such as Mango Sago to traditional snacks such as Peanut and Sesame Muah Chee. 

Other than desserts, Chao Zan Dessert’s newest outlet at Jewel also adds 14 breakfast and savoury items to the menu such as its homemade Yam Cake and Peanut Porridge, which are exclusive to the Jewel outlet. The interior has a cosy vibe to it, with traditional tiles lining the counter, giving it a nostalgic feel.

5. Ipoh Town Kopitiam (Jewel Changi Airport)

Ipoh Town Kopitiam allows one to experience a slice of Ipoh’s cuisine without having to make the trip up north to Malaysia. The menu has a mix of wallet friendly tea-time dim sum items such as egg tarts and siew mai, while also having Ipoh-inspired mains such as Chicken Soup Hor Fun. 

Looking for something unique? The Fragrant Curry Toast with Soft Boiled Egg provides a tantalising mix of soft, creamy and spicy flavours all in one bite. If you are a coffee lover, don’t pass on the Ipoh “Overjoy” White Coffee, which is served with milk coffee overflowing from the cup – perfect for an Instagram moment!

6. Naixue (Jewel Changi Airport)

Naixue, also known as the world’s first IPO-listed tea brand with more than 1,500 outlets worldwide, has opened its very first Singapore outlet in Jewel. Not only does it serve bubble tea, it also serves up pastries such as crepe cakes, swiss rolls, chocolate croissants, and egg tarts in a variety of flavours.

Naixue also sells the tea leaves used in its shops, conveniently packaged in serving-sized portions. They also come in gift boxs, perfect if you are looking for a gift for tea lovers! 

In addition, it has an opening promotion until 8 August 2024, where you can get a free Naixue Colour Changing Cup with a minimum spend of S$9.90 in a single order, while stocks last.

7. Cinnabon (Jewel Changi Airport)

Easties rejoice – Cinnabon has opened its first outlet in the east of Singapore! Hailing from America, Cinnabon has opened its third store in Jewel Changi Airport, in addition to its existing stores at ION Orchard and Raffles City. Furthermore, from 1 June 2024, all three stores have received halal certification, making the popular cinnamon buns more accessible than ever before. 

The signature Cinnabon (S$6.80), featuring a combination of warm dough, Makara cinnamon, and signature cream cheese, is a must-try. Adventurous dessert lovers can opt for different variations of the Cinnabon, including the Caramel PecanBon (S$7.60) and Mini Biscoff Cookie Butterbon (S$4.80). Looking for a drink? Cinnabon also offers a selection of frozen blended coffee beverages, lemonades, and hot coffees.
