1. McDonald's @ Terminal 2 Arrival Hall - A nostalgic bite back to school days
In the season premiere, Gabriel (male lead) and Xin Yu (female lead) find themselves transported back to their junior college (JC) days, where they shared a meal at the iconic McDonald’s located in Changi Airport’s Terminal 2 (T2).
There is truly something unique about sharing your feelings over a meal, and what more at an iconic spot like McDonald’s at the T2 Arrival Hall! Prior to its reopening in 2023, the famous McDonald’s was the first-of-its-kind with an open-ceiling design that stood as a landmark for 16 years at the terminal before it closed for upgrading works in 2020. It is certainly not a stretch to say that this McDonald’s outlet holds cherished memories for many locals and travellers. Today, the refreshed McDonald’s is still a popular dining spot for couples who are looking for a cosy spot for comfort food, especially on a supper date due to its 24/7 operating hours.
Another truly renowned dinner destination is Swensen’s in Terminal 2. Easily recognisable by its unique Tiffany lamps, Swensen’s is Changi Airport’s oldest restaurant and has withstood the test of time since 1981, when it opened in Terminal 1.
