The gamut of SG60 celebrations offer experiences to showcase the vibrancy of Singapore and celebrate community spirit, and provides participants with photo-worthy moments. Whether youāre a Singapore resident or a traveller, join us at the airport which will come alive with dazzling outdoor light-ups, blooming gardens, and soulful performances at Jewel.
Here are eight SG60 highlights you wonāt want to miss!
1. Join in the SG60 Homecoming Concert at Jewel headlined by Stefanie Sun and Kit Chen for an unforgettable night (1 August 2025)
When it comes to National Day events, the NDP fireworks aren't the only spectacular show in town! Nothing says āhomeā like belting out your favourite National Day tunes.
On 1 August 2025, the SG60 Homecoming Concert takes over Jewel Forest Valley with a full evening of nostalgia and music, all set under the magical glow of the Jewel Rain Vortex.
Headlined by renowned Singapore singers Stefanie Sun and Kit Chan, the evening promises soaring vocals and heartwarming nostalgia with beloved tunes. Singer-songwriter Sezairi, pop princess Regina Song, Mandopop folk-duo The Freshman (ęēē), and groovy pop band SuperSonic will also be performing at Jewel. From soulful ballads to sing-along anthems, the night promises to hit every emotional note.
And guess what, itās free!

2. Walk, snack and give back at the SG60 Charity Walk (27 July 2025)
Forget your typical 5K run. The SG60 Changi Airport Charity Walk will be a uniquely Changi stroll where every step counts for a cause - and comes with treats!
Grab a buddy or form a team of four, and join mascots Buddy and Mr Merlion on a sunset walk down the Changi Park Connector Network on the evening of 27 July 2025, where it will be illuminated with decorative lights. Along the way, relive childhood memories with traditional snacks such as gem biscuits and iceācream sandwiches, snap photos at charming photo spots, and put your Singapore knowledge to the test at trivia stations. The walk will end on a high at Terminal 4ās Finisher Carnival, where walkers will receive a finisherās medallion and an exclusive finisherās mini-plush keychain to take home.
Itās also more than just a walk. Every step helps support youths at risk and children with special needs through Community Chestās Children and Special Needs and Youth-At-Risk programmes.

3. Marvel at the Airport Boulevard outdoor light-up with Singaporeās most iconic landmarks (From 20 July 2025)
If youāre driving along Airport Boulevard, prepare for a brilliant surprise that turns your ride into a dazzling display of lights.
This yearās SG60 outdoor light-up will be nothing short of spectacular, a glowing drive-through gallery that celebrates Singaporeās most iconic landmarks. Look out for luminous recreations of the Changi Control Tower, Gardens by the Bay, the Singapore Flyer, and more, all beautifully lit against the night sky. The path leads to a stunning finale: a majestic arch in the red and white of the national flag, symbolising 60 years of homecoming.
Each installation is more than decoration; itās a visual narrative of childhoods, milestones, and the nation weāve built together.
4. Witness SG60 full blooms in terminals and Jewel
From 21 July 2025, Changi Airport will transform into a colourful floral showcase featuring orchids and plants closely associated with Singapore and Changi Airport.
Terminal 3: An ode to Singaporeās national flower
Step into a display at Terminal 3ās Departure Hall that is dedicated to Vanda Miss Joaquim, Singaporeās national flower. Be awed by a breathtaking seven-metre-tall orchid sculpture and look out for rare orchid hybrids like Dendrobium Changi Airport and Dendrobium Jewel, all in celebration of Changiās identity as an airport in a garden.
Terminal 2: The Merlion arrives at Changi Airport
A stunning six-metre-tall Merlion topiary will stand proudly in front of The Wonderfall, sculpted from 60 species of flowers including orchids, carnations, and bougainvilleas. Itās a bold, blooming take on one of Singaporeās most iconic symbols.
Jewel: A vivid contrast of orchid colours (1 to 31 August 2025)
The lush Forest Valley in Jewel will get a stunning SG60 makeover with over 1,200 orchids in full bloom. Bold reds and soft whites from the fiery Renanthera Bangkok Beauty and the elegant Dendrobium Shavin White come together in a brilliant display of Singaporeās harmony and heritage.
Donāt miss the exclusive Dendrobium Jewel Changi Airport orchid, a hybrid created for Jewelās 5th anniversary at the Level 2 South look-out point!
The floral extravaganza doesnāt stop there.
Across the terminals, youāll also spot charming floral sculptures of local snacks, from curry puffs to gem biscuits ā blending nature, nostalgia, and national pride into one photo-worthy journey, itās a celebration of Singaporeās favourite flavours and blooming spirit.
5. Catch the special Light & Music Showcase at Jewel (2 to 31 August 2025)
Thereās something about hearing āHomeā by Singapore musician Kit Chan that never fails to tug at the heartstrings. This August, Jewel brings the magic back with a special edition of its daily Light & Music Showcase.
Set to Kit Chanās iconic 1998 rendition of "Home", the Rain Vortex will come alive nightly into a canvas of colour and nostalgia, with watercolour-style projections of Singaporeās most treasured symbols, like the Changi Airport control tower and the Merlion.
Catch it daily throughout August at 8:00pm and 9:00pm from Monday to Thursday, with an additional show at 10:00pm from Friday to Sunday, and public holidays. Itās a soft, stirring moment that reminds Singapore residents why this little red dot will always be home.
6. Donāt miss flavours of Singapore, shaped like the Changi Control Tower
Meet the Changi Control Tower Popsicle, a limited-edition frozen delight created in collaboration with local ice cream artisan Creamier.
