Travelling business class with Turkish Airlines means you’ll be treated to a full course meal on board. I’ve already chosen our preferred menu on its website prior to boarding and was eagerly anticipating the fine dining experience!

When it came to meal time, I was pleasantly surprised to select from a variety of pastries from a breadbasket, accompanied with Turkish olive oil and butter. The meal continued with starters and a main, and I ended the meal with a delectable slice of Red Velvet Cake. The food was served by a chef – who oversees the food preparation and plating, adding to the unique dining experience up in the air.

The effort put into the presentation also made a difference to the overall experience; with the food being served alongside a candlelight, emulating the ambience of being in a restaurant. 

Turkish Airlines also recently received the award for “Best Business Class Catering” at the Skytrax World Airline Award – a testament to their commitment to ensuring passengers experience a scrumptious meal up in the air. 

Prepare for your flight with your personalised amenity kit

Upon boarding, I was presented with an amenity kit, thoughtfully placed on our seat before take-off. The amenity kit was an italian Ferragamo bag equipped with necessary items useful for a long-haul flight, such as a pair of plush socks, eye masks, earplugs and a toothbrush to freshen up before arriving at your destination. 

There are separate kits for male and female passengers, which adds a nice touch of personalisation. 

Have a restful flight

On the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, the seats are adjustable to a full lie-flat configuration, with sufficient space for resting. For long-haul flights, the flight attendants will also provide bedding and blanket for your seat, allowing you to rest comfortably.

Turkish Airlines also offers free Wi-Fi for Business Class passengers (up to 1GB), so you can browse the internet or catch up on work without any interruptions. We also tried the in-flight entertainment system, which has an extensive line-up of TV programmes and popular movies – tailored to keep us entertained during the flight. 

Take off on a win

Simply enter your flight number on Changi App > Fly > Flights page and filter the results by date to search for your flight. Tap into the flight card to access information and save your flight. Don’t forget to turn on notifications to receive updates via flight alerts and scan your bag tag to track the status of your check-in baggage!
