Enjoy dinner and drinks with a view

Start in the late afternoon with a leisurely stroll hand-in-hand at the Shiseido Forest Valley. This four-storey indoor garden will surprise you with exotic plants and trees from around the world. Then take a gentle hike up to Canopy Park. Stop and smell the roses along the way, as you wander through the misty trails and past cascading waterfalls. And reward yourself with a view of the breath-taking HSBC Rain Vortex when you reach the top. Don’t forget to capture these wonderful memories with your cameras on hand!

For dinner, try Perch. Savour Asian-European fusion dishes paired with wine from their extensive wine selection at this casual-dining restaurant. Their Valentine’s Day menu (S$168++ for 2 pax) comes with oysters as part of the starters, a sharing plate of grilled salmon, grilled half spring chicken and grilled waygu beef, desserts and two glasses of cocktails.

After a satisfying meal, end your day on a high note with drinks at Canopy Park. Head to Rumours Bar and Grill for some refreshing cocktails and a stunning night view of the Rain Vortex.

Go cycling and chill at a café

Get up bright and early, and begin your cycling route from East Coast Park. Rent a bicycle from GoCycling and enjoy the scenery as you tackle the 16km distance (or approximately 70 minutes) to Changi Airport. Stop by the Jurassic Mile, a 1-km stretch featuring over 20 dinosaurs, for photos with these larger-than-life prehistoric creatures.

When you get to the HUB & SPOKE, return your bicycle at the GoCycling branch and freshen up at the pay-per-use shower facilities. Amenities such as shampoo, body wash and hair dryer are conveniently provided. You can even purchase a towel at the vending machines before entering the shower area.

Make a pit stop at the HUB & SPOKE Café and fuel up with an alfresco-style lunch. For Valentine’s Day, they have a special 3-course meal (S$68++ for 2 pax) with creamy mushroom soup, choice of baked salmon or pan seared ribeye steak, and salted caramel chocolate tart. Alternatively, you can consider HUB & SPOKE café’s high-tea instead. Their Valentine’s Day High Tea set (S$48++ for 2 pax) comes on a tiered stand with savoury items such as sliders and sushi, sweet items such as chocolate tarts and custard puffs, as well as two cups of tea.

Their exclusive Valentine’s Day menu is available for lunch, high tea and dinner on 13 and 14 February only, so reserve a spot early via hubandspoke@changiairport.com. The dinner set (S$88++ for 2 pax) is a 4-course meal which includes an entrée.

Savouries include the mushroom caramelised onion quiche, tomato garlic butter pissaladiere (a French savoury tart similar to a pizza) and chicken mayo cucumber sandwich. The set also comes with two choices of tea or coffee per person. For tea lovers, take your pick from a menu of premium teas including the floral Honey Granate tea infused with pomegranate flower and the creamy Mocha Mint tea with a hint of peppermint.
