When you travel, you leave behind the creature comforts of home and work. But Changi Airport caters to every traveller’s needs, whether it’s a quiet space to work, a comfortable bed to catch up on sleep, or a private room in which to feed your baby.

Every traveller’s needs are different, from business people who need a good internet connection, to long-distance visitors who wish to rest, and families who want to entertain the kids. That’s why Changi Airport puts a lot of effort into providing essential facilities. The state of the art facilities have one purpose – to make visitors’ experience at Changi Airport smooth.

Carers travelling with babies require a special kind of support. Taking care of a young one requires added facilities which one might not otherwise need. That’s why Changi Airport has over 20 specially designed Baby Care facilities across all three terminals. Each is equipped with hot water dispensers, nursing rooms, and change tables, providing carers with a peaceful, private space to attend to a baby's needs. There are both public and transit rooms, and some of the larger ones also have play facilities or a TV to entertain young kids.

Transit hotels

The state of the art facilities have one purpose – to make visitors’ experience at Changi Airport smooth.

Those who travel frequently for work know how important it is to get some rest whenever time and facilities permit. Changi Airport makes this easy with free-to-use snooze lounges throughout the terminals. And if you’re craving a comfortable bed and ensuite, transit passengers can also check into one of three exclusive transit hotels, located at each of the terminals, without even having to clear immigration. Rooms can be booked in six-hour time slots with one-hour extensions. Amenities include swimming pools, jacuzzis and a wake-up call service.

If you’re travelling with kids, ask for a family room. Some even overlook the airfield – always a popular choice with young plane-spotters.

Business centres

For business travellers who prefer to work on the go rather than rest, Changi Airport has your needs covered too. Work in peace and quiet at one of three 24-hour business centres equipped with Wi-Fi and optional desktop computers. Available only for transit passengers, the centres offer services including typing, mailing, photocopying and faxing.

Baggage storage

The left baggage facility lets you shop at the duty free outlets without the hindrance of heavy bags

Looking to take some time out to explore the duty free shopping? The first thing you need is to leave your heavy luggage behind. You’ll free up your hands and relax your mind when you leave your luggage at one of Changi Airport’s several 24-hour Left Baggage counters. These secure counters are located in both the public and transit areas of all three terminals.

Pay a small, flat fee for a 24-hour period, with a subsequent 24 hours offered. The minimal charge is dependent on the size and number of pieces of luggage. Whether it’s a few hours or a few days, you can rest assured that while you’re out exploring, your luggage stays right where you left it.

Clinics and pharmacies

If you’re feeling unwell, have a last-minute prescription to fill or are travelling with a special needs passenger, you'll need medical assistance from professionals.

Fret not because there are five clinics available for both public and transit passengers across all three terminals. Two are open 24 hours so you will always find help at all times. There are also seven pharmacies in all three terminals, offering prescriptions, medications, toiletries, and health and beauty products.

Special needs

Elderly and less physically mobile travellers often have trouble at busy airports. A lack of facilities such as wheelchair ramps, user-friendly lifts and special toilets makes travelling difficult for them. All of these are available at Changi Airport in addition to the complimentary wheelchairs and strollers, which can be obtained from the Information and Customer Service counters on a first-come first-served basis.

Now you can relax and feel right at home even in one of the busiest international airports in the world, with Changi Airport paying attention to all your travel and transit needs.
