While you're out enjoying all that Singapore has to offer, remember to observe good hygiene measures. Stay safe!

As social restrictions continue to ease, Singapore’s nightlife is starting to bustle again and we can all now party till we drop!

What better way than to spend your Friday nights soaking up the illuminating night cityscape while having a good drink at a rooftop bar. There are so many choices for you to choose from for a fun night out! Don’t worry if you are on a tight budget as some of these rooftop bars are definitely value for money!

If you need some inspiration for your next rooftop bar gathering to chill and have a good time, these will make great options for your hangouts or even a first date idea!

1. Kinki Restaurant and Bar

With a breathtaking view of Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands, Kinki Restaurant and Bar’s newly revamped look is nothing but chic and modern! Be greeted with intricate art murals on the restaurant level and cool graffiti when you head up to the rooftop bar. This place is all about its laid-back persona, with sneaker-wearing wait staff and funky music pumping all night long.

Head over to its restaurant on the second floor for a hearty meal. You will be surprised as its bold take on Japanese cuisine is well... different. You will even get a complimentary glass of Moet & Chandon Brut! Who doesn’t like a free glass of champagne

After a hearty meal, head up to the rooftop bar for some alcohol to end the night right. Kinki is serious about its craft and shows that through its extensive range of fascinating drinks. If you brought friends, Kinki Restaurant recommends its special rooftop set at $588++ per package. In that package, you will receive seven Kinki cocktails, alongside two bottles of Moet & Chandon Brut, a choice of spirit, and a partridge of a pear tree good for a group of five! Seems like there’s enough alcohol for a fantastic party!

Other than drinks, VUE highlights its binchotan-grilled speciality offerings! Image credit: VUE

If you are planning for a romantic night with a loved one, one Michelin star restaurant VUE is Singapore’s first rooftop spritz bar that you should visit. A spritz is a wine-based cocktail made with bitter liqueurs and sparkling soda water. This drink is usually served over ice in a wine glass, martini glass or a lowball glass with an orange wedge for garnish.

Located atop OUE Bayfront on Collyer Quay, you will be met with a stunning view of Marina Bay while feasting on the interesting dishes. Instagram fans will have plenty of reasons to prepare their poses and phones. Don’t miss out on its specialties, which are prepared using Binchotan coal. Fun fact, Binchotan is hardwood charcoal produced from Holm oaks, which can be found in the forested hills of the Kii peninsula, Japan.

If its binchotan-grilled specialties are not your cup of tea, you can opt for its 6-course “Spring” themed omakase set, starting at $388. Whilst dining at VUE, immerse yourself in an epicurean adventure, while gazing at the cityscape of Marina Bay Sands. It is definitely not an experience to be missed!
