While you're out enjoying all that Singapore has to offer, remember to observe good hygiene measures. Stay safe!

Playing a round of pool has been a fun activity for a night out for youths in Singapore, other than gaming at arcades

If you’re new to pool, here’s the lowdown on what’s the diff first. There are two types of billiards games. Carom billiards is played on a pocketless table, with players trying to bounce the cue ball off other balls or the table rails.

Pocket billiards, also known as pool, is played on a table with pockets. Players must sink the coloured balls into the pockets by striking them with the cue ball. Snooker, on the other hand, is similar to pool, but played on a pocket table much larger than a pool one.

There’s so much to explore in this game — trying different playing techniques, refining precision, and learning who among your friends is the best at the game!

While we have had to put a pause on these activities for a while during the peak of the pandemic, Singapore’s new regulations are a welcome change of pace. So, round up your friends and sharpen your table manners  – it’s time for balls of fun. Here’s where you can play pool, billiards and snooker in Singapore.
