Experience the weightless sensation of skydiving by signing up for a session or two at an indoor skydiving facility. In Singapore, we have one at Sentosa – iFly Singapore. The wind tunnel boasts an 18-metre acrylic glass wall, which will provide great views of the ocean during your session.

With enough practice, you might even learn to do flips and somersaults like Kyra Poh, Singapore's very own indoor skydiving champion.

Work on your batting skills without having to assemble a team at this indoor baseball and softball batting pitch. The automated batting system shoots you ball after ball for an efficient workout that will surely improve your ball sense.

Besides being an efficient upper body workout, batting and pitching are also immensely satisfying ways to work off some stress, especially if you manage to get a good crack at the ball.

3. Scale a vertical obstacle

Conveniently located in a shopping mall, you can you can end off  this rock climbing session with a bite at one of the F&B outlets.  Even complete beginners can try their hand at the sport at this climbing facility, which offers 15-minute safety briefings for all newcomers.

There are also climbing courses for adults and children, if you prefer a little extra guidance before you get started. With the highest climbing wall in Singapore, this is also a great spot for Spiderman-wannabes – or more advanced climbers – to test out their wall-scaling skills.

4. Hit a hole in one

You won’t need to slather on the sunscreen when you head to Amazonia for a fun-filled round of mini golf.

5. Marvel at the world’s tallest indoor waterfall

Head to Cloud Forest at Gardens by the Bay to learn more about the diversity of plants and vegetation of the canopy / cloud forest layer in a rainforest without having to scale heights of up to 2,000m.

Featuring a 35m indoor waterfall, this indoor greenhouse mimics a high altitude environment and is home to unique plant species such as the Venus flytrap as well as rare ferns and mosses. When you get to the top, be sure to have your camera ready to capture the bird’s eye view of the treetops.

Come 2019, you’ll also be able to enjoy the Rain Vortex – a 40m indoor waterfall that’s expected to be the world’s tallest – at Jewel Changi Airport. If you're there at night, the Rain Vortex will come to life with an exciting light and sound show that will enchant the entire family.
