You’ve probably heard a lot about Jewel Changi Airport, the multi-dimensional lifestyle destination situated right at the heart of Changi Airport. With so many things to see and do and so many places to eat and drink, it’s not hard at all to spend a full day at the new gem in the city.

For the night owls and those flying in to Singapore after the typical business hours, you’ll be extremely glad to know that out of the 100 plus restaurants and eateries in Jewel, 33 of them open past midnight. Most of them are located at the basement level and even in the wee hours of the night, Jewel’s basement is abuzz with a galore of food choices! 1. A&W

Needing no introduction, A&W made a come-back to Singapore after 14 years and opened its first outlet in Jewel. Queues of up to two hours were reported during the public preview and is expected to be even more crowded when Jewel opens officially on 17 April 2019. So if you are one of the eager ones to try their signature Coney Dogs, Root Beer Float and Curly Fries, it might be smart to wait till after regular hours to try your luck!

2. A-One Signature

Famous for serving local favourites such as Dried Chilli Frog’s Meat and Dried Scallop Porridge with Minced Meat in piping hot claypots, A-One Signature is a family-friendly restaurant that will satisfy your craving for authentic Chinese food.

3. An Acai Affair

Pronounced ‘Ah-sah-ee’, Acai is a superfood found on Acai palm trees in the South American region. Packed with antioxidants and fibre, it is a pleasure in paradise for those into healthy-eating. 4. Big Bird

Before the ‘Mala’ craze, there was the salted egg craze that had many eateries come up with a salted egg coated dish. And if you’re a fan of salted egg, you have to order Big Bird’s warm rice topped with their signature salted egg chicken. It’ll leave you craving for more!

5. Boost Juice Bars

8. Fei Siong

11. Icenoie Hokkaido

There’s always room for desserts. This is especially true if you’re a fan of soft serve and gelato. Icenoie Hokkaido uses milk produced at ranches in Naganuma, Hokkaido and applies a unique cold pasteurisation method for the milk. 14. La Lola Churreria
