Starting 24 March 2025, Changi Airport will be welcoming additional flights to Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport (SZB), also known as Subang Airport, operated by Firefly. This new service by Firefly will provide even more travel options between Singapore and Kuala Lumpur (KL) – the capital city of Malaysia. Getting to the heart of KL is a breeze from Subang Airport, with just a 30-minute car ride compared to the hour-long journey from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). (Or you can book Ekspres train tickets from KLIA and reach KL Sentral in just 28 minutes!)
The new flights between Changi Airport and Subang will operate daily, with flight FY3672 departing Subang at 6:30pm and arriving in Changi Airport at 7:45pm. The return flight, FY3673, departs Singapore at 8:45pm and arrives back in Subang at 10:00pm.

The Singapore – Kuala Lumpur route is one of the world’s busiest international air routes, with over 5.4 million seats scheduled in 2024, according to OAG. Currenly, over 180 flights connect Changi Airport to KLIA per week.
The additional flights by Firefly between Subang and Changi Airport will add even more options to travellers flying on one of the world’s busiest international air routes. And if you’re wondering which airlines fly from Singapore to Subang Airport the answer will be two once Firefly’s new route takes flight: right now, Scoot is the only other airline offering daily connections between Changi and Subang.
Firefly will be utilising its modern retrofitted Boeing 737-800 aircraft for this route. Passengers can enjoy a comfortable journey with complimentary 10kg check-in baggage, 7kg carry-on baggage, and in-flight refreshments. For travellers seeking even more flexibility and space for their luggages and travel carry-ons, an upgrade to the Flex category is available, which includes 30kg checked baggage and unlimited flight changes.
Firefly also operates out of Seletar Airport with multiple commercial flights to Subang Airport daily using its ATR turboprop aircraft. This provides travellers with even more options when planning their trips to Malaysia and KL.
