Perth’s popularity as a family-friendly destination, and its appeal as a place for outdoor adventures and scenic road trips, has made it a favourite holiday destination for many Singaporeans. Not surprisingly, Singapore is one of Western Australia’s top sources of foreign visitors. The city’s proximity and accessibility have solidified its place on the bucket lists of many Singapore residents.
Jetstar will be restarting flights between Perth and Changi Airport on 1 August 2024 serviced by the Airbus A321neo, operating the route three times a week initially, joining Qantas, Scoot, and Singapore Airlines on this route. The airline will increase the frequency to six times weekly from September 2024.
With the return of Jetstar on this route, Changi Airport will now connect even more travellers to Western Australia’s unparalleled natural beauty. It will also offer travellers a convenient access to the state’s diverse attractions, from the vibrant city of Perth to world-class vineyards in the Margaret River region, and the pristine wilderness of its national parks. Some of the must-visits for travellers visiting Perth include Fremantle Markets, Rottnest Island known for its beaches and quokkas, Pinnacles Dessert and the Lancelin Sand Dunes.
In addition to the Singapore-Perth route, Jetstar commenced its new flights from Singapore to Broome in Western Australia on 25 June 2024, and will operate until 25 October 2024 before recommencing in April 2025. This expands the airline’s presence in Western Australia and provides travellers from Singapore a unique opportunity to experience the rugged beauty of the town in the Kimberley region.
