We have rounded up some of the best things you will not want to miss on your next visit to Terminal 2. From Changi’s signature horticulture creations and refreshed amenities, to new and exciting dining and shopping delights, read on to find out why this could easily become our favourite terminal yet!

1. Marvel at the stunning designs and experience a seamless travel journey

The design of Terminal 2 draws inspiration from nature, with its carpets being the most iconic of all – a topography of sea and earth viewed from the sky.

Inspired by nature, Terminal 2 incorporates elements of minerals, water, and lush greenery in various forms in the architecture and design. This is evident in the design of its wall cladding and flooring, giving off an earthy ambience that soothes the senses.

Just like the indoor waterfall in Jewel Changi Airport, there’s a calming effect within the terminal that is alluring – a perfect mix of top-notch facilities with rustic charm.

What about Changi’s iconic horticultural wonders in the revamped terminal? We’ve dedicated a whole section to the captivating creations in the story below.

The Fast and Seamless Travel (FAST) counters in Terminal 2 provide passengers a smooth, automated check-in process when taking an international flight.

The new departure hall now houses a central common-use Fast and Seamless Travel (FAST) zone, where passengers can breeze through the check-in process at automated kiosks. The process of checking in your baggage and preparing for your flight at Terminal 2 is now smoother than ever before.

Currently 12 airlines operate from Changi Airport’s Terminal 2, with more that will move to the terminal next month. If you’re going on a trip soon, do check your flight itinerary before heading to the airport, as you may be flying from the new Terminal 2.

Do you remember the iconic flight information display boards with its 1,080 split-flaps, also called the Solari Boards, that used to be in Terminal 2 Departure Hall? One of them has been transformed into an interactive masterpiece in the public area of Terminal 2 – an art piece that can be personalised for each and every passenger and visitor.

Snap a photo with your phone at the exhibit or select from a range of preset designs and watch the interactive display craft a personalised artwork with the Solari Board flaps. An absolute must for a memorable photo opportunity!
