Picture this: you’ve just got off a 16-hour flight, and your connecting flight is five hours away. It’s time too short to leave the airport or justify a hotel booking, but also arguably too long to spend idling by the gates. What then?
From comfort-defining lounges to serene spas that melt away travel stress, along with personalised shopping services that cater to your every whim, you can find luxe amenities in Changi Airport to upscale your experience.
If you’re travelling through Changi Airport soon, here are some of the amenities you can look forward to.
Lounge Services
1. Pay-Per-Use Lounges
While airline lounges may be exclusive to premium class passengers or flyers with premium credit cards, Changi Airport has plenty of pay-per-use lounges for all travellers in transit.
In every terminal, there’s one pay-per-use lounge open, including one at Jewel Changi Airport. All lounges provide a tranquil break from the hubbub of the bustling airport. Here, you can freshen up from your journey with a hot shower and feast on local delights, like chicken rice and laksa.
Depending on the lounge, you may get to enjoy some extra top-of-the-line services too! Apart from shower facilities, private resting suites, high-speed internet connection and free-flow food and beverages, lounges at Terminals 1, 2, 3 and 4, as well as Jewel Changi Airport each offer something uniquely rewarding.
Over at Terminal 2, guests can use their printing services and workstations to catch up on work, along with a gym for those who want a quick workout. Those looking to catch some shut-eye can nook their napping suites. Terminal 3 boasts the same facilities, along with beauty and massage services. Meanwhile, Terminal 4’s lounge has a hospitality area where guests can have a massage, manicure and pedicure before their flight.
For specific prices for each of the lounges and their services, you can always refer to Changi Airport’s website for the latest updates.

Bar and Pool
2. Rooftop pool and bar at Aerotel
If time allows, we highly recommend taking a dip in Changi Airport’s open-air swimming pool. It’s located at Aerotel Airport Transit Hotel over at Terminal 1 and overlooks the runway.
Travellers get to lounge around the cabanas or soak in the good vibes in the pool while aircraft soar above their heads. Not only that, it also has a jacuzzi to really work those sore muscles. It goes without saying that towels, shower facilities and relevant amenities are all included in the entry price. Guests of Aerotel Airport Transit Hotel get to enjoy the pool’s facilities for free.
To top it all off, there’s also a poolside bar to complement the experience.
And the aforementioned poolside bar is none other than Aerobar! It’s a one-of-a-kind experience: sipping that bub while dipping your feet in the pool, all whilst planes fly overhead. In fact, some even say it’s worth it to have a longer layover in Singapore just to stay at Aerotel.
There’s no shortage of ice-cold beers, wines, spirits and cocktails to indulge in. They’ve also got an array of bar bites like burgers and Korean fried chicken, as well as vegan options too.

Spa Services
3. BeRelax Spa
Located just behind Terminal 3’s snooze lounge is BeRelax Spa, a Parisian-styled spa service that offers–you guessed it–massages, nail care, showers and facials.
We all know how awful stiff necks and tense shoulders can feel after a long flight. Or worse still, how those can make an upcoming long flight feel even more arduous. While neck supports and static stretches can help a little, nothing quite beats having a masseuse work away at those knots.
Depending on the amount of time you’ve got to kill, they’ve got a variety of different types of massages (neck, feet, back, full body etc.) to cater to your schedule. Even if you can’t afford the time to sit down for a neck rub, you can still purchase travel accessories and massage devices to use on the go. You’ll be the envy of everyone when they see you’ve got your own back massager on the plane.
If you’re worried about post-flight dry skin, their facial treatments are the perfect remedy. You’ll leave the airport feeling fresher than ever before.
Location: Terminal 3 Transit, Level 2, Near Gate A1
Opening hours: 8:00am to 11:00pm
4. Natureland Spa
The newest spa to open at Terminal 3 is Natureland Spa. If you’ve got some time to spare after visiting town during a long transit, why not indulge in a little spa treatment before heading back inside the transit area?
This award-winning spa is known for its extensive massage services. Apart from the usual foot reflexology and body therapy, they’ve also got slimming, prenatal, sports and tui na (a traditional Chinese alternative practice) massages available too. Maybe massages aren’t quite your thing but you’d still like some pampering. In that case, why not give their body scrub service a try? It’s guaranteed to make you feel good in your own skin.
There’s also Natureland Café — a bar within the spa to enhance customers’ spa experience. Who knew you could have liquor and tapas as an accompaniment to your massage?
Location: Terminal 3, Arrival Hall, Level 1
Opening hours: 9:00am to 10:30pm
