Changi Airport has just added a brand-new destination to its ever-expanding network – Linyi, a vibrant city in China. Operated by Guangxi Beibu Gulf Airline, this is Changi Airport’s first connection to Linyi. It also marks the airline’s return to Changi since July 2023.

The daily service connects Singapore Changi Airport to the southeastern part of Shandong Province. While Linyi might be a new name for some, the city boasts a rich history dating back over 2,400 years. It's a historical city on the Silk Road, and birthplace of famous figures such as Zhuge Liang (Chinese politician and general of Shu Han kingdom during the Three Kingdoms period) and Wang Xizhi (renowned calligrapher who lived during the Jin dynasty).

Guangxi Beibu Gulf Airline will fly between Linyi and Singapore daily, with a brief stop at Nanning Wuxu International Airport. Linyi will be Changi’s 31st city link to China, after the recent news of China Eastern Airlines’ new flights to Taiyuan.
