With so many things to do in the public areas of Changi Airport, every visit is a different experience. From this month, arranging a weekend outing for the family just got a lot easier with the newly revamped Terminal 3 Basement 2. This family-friendly spot now offers a whole new experience - a brand new event area, more green spaces and a mouth-watering line-up of new dining options.
Entertainment for all ages
Designed like a stepped amphitheatre, ST3PS features a spacious flight of stairs that offer a new lifestyle space for families to spend some quality time together. If you are looking for a place to hang out with your kids, look out for free daily movie screenings and football matches that will be playing on an ultra high-definition screen. A host of live performances is also lined up every weekend to keep both the young and young at heart entertained!
Tip! Check here for the list of screenings and performances happening every weekend.
With all the new features, T3 B2 could be your next weekend hangout!
Greenery at Changi Airport is a familiar sight to those who travel and visit the airport regularly. This revamped space will add to the experience of enjoying nature indoors with its green wall and fun art themed garden. What’s more? Be fascinated by the twinkling green wall which lights up as you walk up the steps!
Play time galore
There’s plenty of play options to keep the little ones entertained!
While you are enjoying a game of football at ST3PS, the children will be well entertained by the array of play options that await them at Terminal 3 Basement 2.
The young ones can play to their heart’s content at the Hello Kitty Playground, while those looking for an adrenaline-filled adventure can head to The Slide @T3. At 12 meters high (4 storeys tall!), this is the world’s tallest slide at an airport.
If you are planning to go back in time and introduce your children to the joys of arcade games, Zone X is just a stone’s throw away from ST3PS. Battle each other on Animal Kaiser Evolution 7 or fulfil your need for speed on the Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 4.
Something, for everyone
Diners will be spoilt for choices with the line-up of almost 10 new F&B brands at the revamped T3 B2.
What is a weekend outing without a good, hearty meal? With over 50 retail, service and F&B stores at Terminal 3 Basement 2, there is something for even the pickiest eater.
The newly opened Terminal M by Ministry of Food offers a good mix of Korean, Japanese and Chinese cuisines. This aviation themed food hall might just be what you need to satisfy the different taste buds in your family. Or check out dual-concept store, Ramen Champion and Hokkaido Paradise for an extensive Japanese menu and even a special kids menu for the little ones.
Whatever cuisine you crave, T3 B2 has the place for you!
If you are craving for some local dishes, you do not need to look far. A multi-concept F&B outlet comprising Stuff’d, Crave and Pezzo is just around the corner. Joining them is a new brand, Coffee Boy, which puts a twist on your favourite local delights – think Kopi-macchiato and Kopi-Latte.
The upgrading of the Basement 2 at Terminal 3 does not end with just these new additions. Tai Cheong Bakery will be serving up their iconic cookie-crust egg tarts and contemporary Hong Kong café classics, while indoor playground KinderPLAY (previously known as Singkids Playground) will soon make its comeback with an all-new Cartoon Network theme, so do keep your eyes peeled!
